报告内容:A brief outline for the proof for Ax-Schanuel for Shimura varieties will be given. If time permit, we also discuss the Ax-Schanuel for derivatives, which is related to differential equations. The circle of ideas around Ax-Lindemann/Ax-Schanuel have sparked off large amount of related researches. Examples of related settings include period domains, entire holomorphic curves and nonarithmetic ball quotients. We also discuss some of these related problems and results.

报告人简介:黄国坚博士,现于香港大学从事博士后研究。研究方向为复代数几何,复微分几何,尤其是霍奇理论,函数超越性理论。在IMRN,Math Z等期刊发表多篇论文。
